"All other players are inferior just because you can only play songs from itunes on a ipod" how can that be a plus, or am i reading it wrong? Is the GD Archive listed in itunes?

I think they phrased it wrong.

Songs from iTunes can't be played on anything but an iPod. But an iPod can play any standard mp3 or wav.

excellent! then I can play a Shorten/Flac quality wave on an ipod without converting it to mp3. 1gb covers most shows
